JTA On-Site Workplace Vaccination Program

JTA brings our Workplace Vaccination Program directly to your workplace; providing you with the benefits of an immunised workplace without the headache of sending employees offsite to a medical practitioner. We provide an end-to-end service and will work closely with you to ensure the seamless implementation of your vaccination program.

Our trained and qualified professionals will provide on-site vaccinations for your team with minimal disruptions to the working day.

Vaccinations We Offer: 

• Hepatitis A - recommended for first aid givers and persons who work with and in rural and remote sites and indigenous workers. Vaccination should also be considered for those who may be exposed to sewage at work, such as plumbers and food workers.
• Hepatitis B recommended for all. Hepatitis B immunisation is required for all people working in a First Aid/Medical capacity.
• Tetanus – recommended for anyone who has not been immunised against tetanus or has not received a booster in the last 10 years. Vaccination should be considered in particular for those who work in Construction, Armed Forces as well as Police and Essential Services.
• Flu Vaccine - recommended that everyone age 6 months or older receive the annual influenza vaccination. Vaccination is especially important for people at high risk of influenza complications

Your Duty in Relation to Workplace Vaccinations

If workers have a significant occupational risk of acquiring a vaccine-preventable disease, the employer should implement a comprehensive occupational vaccination program that includes:

• A vaccination policy
• Information about relevant vaccine-preventable diseases
• A policy for managing vaccine refusal

Employers should take all reasonable steps to encourage non-immune workers to receive the recommended vaccines.
